Hi people.
One player insulted me by review in my profile. This is obviously violates the rules. Where can I place the ingqire to game advisors to apply sanctions against the bad man ? |

Gaunt, I'm not trying to talk down to you, but the ENTIRE theory behind GAAP is not leave hard numbers/deadlines/upper/lower/limits, because those can be changed (and cheated upon) easily and fall within "guidelines". The general theory in GAAP, is that if you say your documentation/argument/tax report is following GAAP, that you follow a set of principles, guidelines, laws. They make those generally interpretable so if there is some shady business going on that a tribunal can come into effect to form a quorum (legally justifiable) in order to evaluate the clauses/statements given and take corrective actions against such entities (with their governmental given authority) to disallow further abuse of predetermined mandates/laws/guidelines. Sorry, I attempt to talk about theories/paradigms over simple-minded conversations about specific events that have no warrant over pre-existing conditions and understandings. I hate wasting time on lower-level conversations unless they carry any kind of significance. Being a mod demands the former over the latter it seems, but I will learn to cope with this balance as times goes on. |

Like it or lump it, he doesn't like having to explain himself. |

at 5:45 PM, Sunday November 9, 2014 EST This new round of mods have done so much communication and offline chatting with individual players that to criticize people putting forth their best efforts and personal time to make a site better (by the majority vote of the community) is getting close to being simply impalpable.
Thrill, stop trolling and harassing the community at large. Live with it or leave it. |

at 5:55 PM, Sunday November 9, 2014 EST Gaunt, I'm sorry to talk about your profession (which you have not quite yet become fully certified for, which I wish you the best luck on, honestly), but I studied quite a bit of accounting, economics, philosophical economics/ethics and got a couple minors relating to those areas of study to not attempt to relate a conversation and take it to your area of comfortability. This was honestly not meant to be offensive nor the longest run-on sentence in kdice history...
Enjoy the game for what it is. We as a community (and specifically the mods) are doing the best we can take a total utilitarianistic viewpoint on all situations. If you have constructive and reasonable feedback, we are here to listen. |

at 6:50 PM, Sunday November 9, 2014 EST The contentious rule "changes" of late HAVEN'T been put to a majority vote by the community. That's part of the problem.
I would say the general feeling is that the new moderators lay down the law and as you put it we can either live with it or leave. That's a fair statement I suppose, but it contradicts your closing line which says if you have fair and reasonable feedback we are here to listen. From the other side of the fence it seems like you guys are here to rebuff all negative feedback. Before you launch into an argument, just consider that this may be the perception of others around here too, not just me. I know I'm the whiny vocal thorn in kdice's side so the temptation to argue with literally everything I say is enormous, but if you are open to feedback then just take it on board as a possibility. |

at 7:11 PM, Sunday November 9, 2014 EST I do. And my comment was to you, not _anyone_ else in the kdice community. Don't get it twisted. You have addressed exactly 0 of my points here, so how are you claiming to have any kind of desire for a debate when you dodge questions and issues and just keep repeating the same meaning rhetoric?
