at 5:43 PM, Sunday April 12, 2015 EDT Thrillho, i've been trying to spend more time building kdice but you're right its not enough. I'd really like to modernize the UI so I can more it forward in other ways by it seems like that will be a while from now given that its not quite there.
There's also the trello board where I've been tracking some of the potential future features: https://trello.com/b/4dwgZaBz/iogc The chat idea is there, but there's so many other things. Then there's lag. It used to be that I could see resource issues on the server when lag happened. Those issues don't exist anymore. I'm a little bit in the dark as to why lag happens now. I haven't been able to see it locally. Perhaps I should start another thread to get info on when it happens. So far it sounds like there is lag when tournies start. |

at 5:50 PM, Sunday April 12, 2015 EDT @deadcode t= is just to ensure browsers don't used a previously cached version of the request. Browsers are allowed to do this for GET requests with the same URL even if the http headers say not to. So its not used for syncing.
We can talk more about what you'd like to do and I can open up appropriate ways to make it happen. For example, allow you to add a listener for all server responses if you want to listen to those. Maybe I could write a sample JS app that shows how to use some of the data. |

at 2:12 AM, Monday April 13, 2015 EDT Ryan, I think there are a couple of different methods used to force lag, at least one of which seems to be targeting specific accounts -- I know that this account has become unplayable at certain times of day, where my alt (new main) has no trouble whatsoever at the same times (and thus the same players playing and watching).

at 9:08 AM, Monday April 13, 2015 EDT @Ryan, looks like you have your hands full with the trello backlog. Thanks for the information on the t query string.
Btw; have you tried rollbar.com? They have awesome client side error logging. Might be worth a shot to give you exposure to client side errors. |

at 9:42 AM, Monday April 13, 2015 EDT I would like better protection for the players. There are scripts that will show players IP's and have been around for a long long time. It's the prelude to a DDOS attack. Making this more difficult would be great.
