Jurgen: I seriously just found thrills quote hilariously out of tune with reality, and wanted to post it cause of the double morality in it. I never said he should be warned or banned. Just read my comments throughout this thread again. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of him being one of the games' biggest bullies and/or negative nellies, then suddenly complaining about others bullying him or being negative towards him. I have no idea if that breaks any rules. I just found it funny. This forum lacks a "like" button tho, so i dunno how many agree with me, if any.

And I love int and BDK and think they'll do an awesome job, and I think Thrill is a dick. I just find it strange that we have tolerated his behaviour all these years, and now we're suddenly taking action. Something must have changed. He has been spreading vitriol on here since the first day i met him and he hissed and yelled at me and others for doing moves he didnt like, and has never stopped since. So something must have changed. This is surely not the first time a mod has witnessed him doing that to peole, so I'm just curious as to what changed. If you're suddenly banning people based on intent, good for you! But let people know beforehand, so i'm not suddenly banned for berating thrillhos intelligence in a game.

Apig, I see your point(s) but actually, not much has changed. Imo, you also can't say it's a surprise that a few policies change a bit after new mods are being added? Sure, I did pick int and BDK partly because I figured they shared my views on modding for a large part. But you can't expect them to be clones of me. In fact, the new mix is perfect imo.

I remember when I started as a mod. I remember a lot of shit hitting the fan when I started banning stuff. I had to learn how to do well balanced modding on my own (not even claiming I always succeeded, just trust me that I always try). I'll try and help int and bdk not to make too many beginner mistakes but tbh, I think they're doing a great job so far (maybe sometimes the enthusiasm and a bit of player ego takes over too quickly but still, that's about it).

tldr. once more, but to conclude, this might be a good opportunity to link you guys to the document that we worked on together so people can't claim they don't know what the current mod policies are/will be

Sure, and i'm saying that my initial reaction was the same as people probably had when you started modding, but i'm sure it'll be for the better. I'm just stating my opinions, i don't really care if im stepping on toes or not. Just saying how it will be percieved by the people suddenly being warned or banned for shit theyve been doing all along.
