Long story short, Mulder got permabanned because he's a non-stop toxic influence on KDice: his playstyle (stab, lie, disco, etc), his language, his trolling in all possible ways and last but not least his cheating.

I have enough proof now that Mulder cheated all month of June, by pgaing, by being funneled and by and communicating through IM.

I have asked Ryan for a point reset because Mulder does not deserve the 300k gold at all.

I've been busy banning Mulder's alts because I will remove his play and chat every time I see him.

Everyone is free to help by posting a link to the alt profile. If it's obvious, screencaps aren't needed. Screencaps are welcome when it's not obvious by the name alone that it's him.

He's impossible to talk to so I'm sure he won't just leave. That's fine, I'm always flexible and give people plenty of chances. But once you crossed the last line, there's no turning back. So he'll be banned until he leaves now.

He'll probably be able to sneak in a few games or troll a bit since I don't plan on babysitting Kdice 24/7. If he's there, I recommend ignoring him as much as possible (don't feed the troll). Just report him here and mute him if he spams the chat.

Waiting until someone is "away" (for example because he was typing during his turn) and then sitting yourself out so you win because the other player autoresigns

(I think...)the term disco comes from the fact that the highlighted player box quickly jumps between the 2 remaining players so it creates a bit of a discoball-effect

Yeah I decided to check if Shannon/Agent Mulder could do what he promised he could do: he knows he can't play anymore, especially not on 2k or 5k but I can understand that he would like to be here now and then and not get banned every time he says hi.

I know it's a bit contradictory with a permaban but I'm also not a heartless dictator and I feel that if he can keep this promise to behave in chat (I'm WELL aware that he has broken dozens of promises in the past, I'm not naive either), it's a win win for every side:

He won't be a negative influence by trolling.

I (and other mods) don't have to check all the time to see if he is trolling, freeing up time to do other more productive things.

As long as he behaves, the tables which he used to troll won't be annoyed by him anymore.

This is a long shot but my hope is that this will be enough freedom on KDice to get some closure. Then he can slowly let go, get bored and leave.

It's a bit of a gamble but I'm willing to try it. I think we can all win here and if it doesnt work, then I was wrong but it's 2 seconds of work to go back to a full permaban.

I'm not asking anyone to like him but I would like to ask not to troll him just to get a reaction back. Yeah he might take the bait (anyone would if pushed enough) but it would prove that you're not much better than him if you have to stoop to his old level.

We should just make him a mod...
