imbo (in my biased opinion), sado wouldve funneled whether or not mods were present telling him to stop that shit. he was uber-pissed at me from the grand finale tourney, in a round where (ironically) i truced nodice for 3/4 when sado's reply to me suggesting we 2v1 nodice was "ill just sit here". so nodice and i insta-realized that wed rather both be safe, so we truced, and 2v1d sado. sado was pissed, and told me that he flagged, and would fight 4/5 with nodice. i said sorry its too late, we truced, then hit him anyways. he held that against me. and said he would pge me not for teh rest of the tourney or month, but for the rest of his klife. he was that pissed.

the issue is that sado was so blinded by rage, that he forgot how to do basic math. the truth was that nodice was 4.2k up on me after midnight, with me not sitting on a table. i came by to watch the game, quickly realized that i was relegated to 4th, unless by some miracle nodice lost 4.2k. so when i got there, nodice did this insane connect (was p epic, tbh), but then got shafted by a TERRIBLE build (as seen in screenshot 1). i laughed and yelled from gallery, 6v1 THE MIDDLE LINE, YESSSSSSSSS, or something like that. standard monte.

i think thats what triggered sado though. he must have disregarded all math, and just because i proposed killing the obv suicidal connect (which also went through sado, no less), sado decided that to get back at me, he would NOT touch nodice. no skin off my back. and thats when several people in gallery were like, thats fucked up, this is a funnel.

nodice reacted in a standard way, ive been in that position before, and done the same.

from what i remember, the rest of the table was in shock that sado would reconnect or hit nodice. and then someone made the astonishing discovery that if nodice got the win, not only would he avoid the epic -4.2k into 3rd place, but with a 6.5k win, he would jump to 1st. this has a very interesting effect on people. again, im not approving/condemning the reaction, but i understand it. one of my favorite things to do in kdice, when i realize that i cant get 1st in a game, is to feel important by swaying who gets 1st. and i think the entire table realized, HEY, we got nothing to gain/lose (no one had a shot at turning their trophy from white->grey or grey->bronze, EXCEPT nodice, who could obv make a HUGE jump from bronze->gold). and slowly (my guess) is that there was a feeling of lol check it out, we can sway 1st for the month.

anyways, things that led to this were:
1) i kept my word in the grand finale and 2v1d sado with nodice, instead of accepting his flag and watching him kill nodice (he had a 7-3 advantage at one point)
2) sado was so blinded by rage at me keeping my word (and me insisting that he fucked himself in that tourney game), that he forgot basic math. and then he decided that i would be upset if nodice were to improve (i think he thought nodice and i were pge-ing because, as usual with grand finales, people always get snippy at each other)... (but we werent pgeing i dont think).
3) the sudden mass realization that nodice could jump to 1st.

the funny thing is that sado apparently commented on my review page afterwards, and its sorta an apologetic, past is past type of thing. i tried to calm him down after the 2v1 in the tourney, and say dude, lol @ your pge4lyfe claim. it just took him a few hours to long to calm down i guess.

so this wasnt some massively premeditated plan to cheat by sado. but it was heinous all the same. so i would say a 7day ban is appropriate. sure, he affected who got gold (but so did everyone else after him at that table). BUT its not like he was AIMing with nodice and scheming at all. it was just a simple case of blind rage.

a week for a first offence may sound enough but it's actually a cheap price to pay for a player who had nothing to lose on this account.

you forgot to mention that somehow, in that particular tourny game, that you had made a declaration for "4th tops" , it was disrespected by nodice, then somehow you msak'd your way into a 3/4 truce with him, which netted you 3rd.

you know not flagging is not bannable, jerk noobs (well negative attitude players in general on all table levels) do it all the time for other reasons so I don't mind that much if you want to favor Nod by donating some points.

but let's call your non-flag what it was: a mini-funnel to Nod.

imo no one at the table was to blame except sado. once sado didn't cut nod it was obvious the dude was gonna win and if I were on the table I probably would have flagged.

keeping people around for a farm is a legitimate strategy. i probably didnt need to tell nodice this since he is an experienced player, but i also didnt want to die with a -4.2k 7th.
