I have grown tired of people abusing the system by using alts to perpetrate crimes against the Kstate and then being able to use their mains without penalty. From now on, if I ban one account for breaking the law, any other accounts that belong to the same ip will also be banned.

I would assume that permabans for shared accounts would only happen for the account that was shared, plus perhaps a temporary ban of the accounts of the players involved. |

at 3:42 PM, Saturday August 7, 2010 EDT @Chloe: You would assume wrong. I have already stated my position on this issue. As far as I am concerned, the people who participate in operating a shared account are, in effect, engaged in a conspiracy and all are equally liable and subject to sanction.
To put it bluntly, the shared account will be permabanned and anyone who is found to have operated the shared account will also be permabanned, as will all of their other accounts. I also am not the kind and gentle mod that Thrax is. For the vast majority of you that engage in illicit activities, you know full well that what you are doing is a violation and now you know what the penalty will be. If you are a veteran player and are caught, there will be no warning, no 1 week suspension. It will jump to a minimum of a month. For ALL of your accounts. If it is against the rules, DON'T DO IT. You may very well get away with the scam for a long while, but if you are caught, you will suffer harsh consequences. If you choose to cheat, in whatever fashion, then you do so with the full knowledge of what the punishment will be if you are caught. If |

at 3:46 PM, Saturday August 7, 2010 EDT (cont.) you wish to rail and rant about this policy, please feel free to do so. I have a thick skin and you can lambaste me as much as you like. But I am adamant that people who seek to abuse the system and thereby create an unfair environment for the majority of the other players on this site should be punished to the full extent possible.
