I can honestly say, in my 8 years of play, there is nothing untoward happening here. Your are looking far too much in to things.

Miss click really flagged in round 3. Of course he's clever enough to say "jk" but from his opportunistic point of view he wants to stay alive or at least not get attacked for a few rounds. Lame? of course, that's why I called it out. I hate early or weak flags but you can't forbid him to try. It's your job not to let it ruin your game though.


Brown can't accept both of your flags so of course he has to refuse one flag. Imo, he picked the right flag to refuse.

You say favours were involved. I say logic thinking was involved. Accepting reds flag means he's safe from Green's attacks. Accepting your flag means he can't go to me or purple and he will lose the game. Had you been in MC's place and MC in yours he would have done exactly the same thing. Of course if MC would have been in your position he would have figured something else out. He wouldn't just try to flag brown because HE would KNOW he is middle and HE would KNOW that brown would accept reds flag and not yours or he is screwed.

You're so biassed because you can't accept your logic loss in the middle. In your eyes, the only way you lost that game is because of favours. I disagree. Yes you had a tough starting position but actually you had many options that didn't involve cheating or favours or whatevers in order to try and survive in that middle start position. But that's something that you still need to learn it seems. Good luck with learning that. Step one is staying calm and predicting how players will move.

I tried to explain why brown made the right call and why there was not even a hint of a favour involved in that entire game. If you truly can't see why you were attacked by brown, me and purple in this game, I give up on trying to explain.

Here's one option for you to survive in the middle: you calmly tell brown you understand that he needs to go through but you tell him politely that you still flag and that he can come through but that you need to move out of the way because you want to fight X (pick one opponent that you can beat, the other players will hopefully leave you alone because you specified who your target will be).

Even if they counter you and brown, at least you will have a shot because you have at least one person who won't screw you

you can even limit yourself to "ok, come through but give me time to move out of the way because I want to kill X"

you can avoid saying the "i still flag" part and if the game progresses favourably you can get him to flag you instead because "he refused your flag at the start and you were ok not accepting it"

You only say it's the wrong choice because he attacked you and not him. You would have a point if you had MC's lands and he choose to accept the weak middle flag instead of red's flag (you in that hypothetical case). Even that would just be a silly move and not necessarily otf or favoritism. Some people just have bad judgement you know.

Whatever. Your going to stick with your side. Bet you you let that sort of shit happen often. And your the one who benefits from it.
