I'm soon going to be adding the ability for voice chat at the table level to Deadcode Tools (Chrome only).
I'm looking for volunteers who want this feature released to them earlier for early feedback / testing. If you are interested in having this ability added to your Deadcode Tools then reply to this thread. |

at 12:34 PM, Thursday November 12, 2015 EST consider this
- I'm sure you just said: "flag" - No way man; I said "f..k" - and you said "stab" - Nooo i said "STOP" -------- We have lots of cheating here so another experimental way to do it changes a little. Let's try it and life is going to show us all what it brings. by the way "flag" (in chat)highliter still not working. |

at 5:37 AM, Friday November 13, 2015 EST A verbal "flag" is not part of the concept or the rules. Just like a "stab" it is something the community added outside the rules. Regarding flags you can only flag up for a position - once you done that getting better (stabbing) is not impossible but difficult. Flagging to a person is not part of the rules.
That said abusing verbal or written flags is not cheating, neither is stabbing. Still given the fact that this game is highly dependent on communication I would like to discuss the following ideas: - voice chat is only enabled if all players have it activated. - voice chat is not available to not seated players - voice chat can be deactivated for all by any seated player during a game (this might be mandatory if insulting, harrassing or chatting in Klingon is becoming a problem) This way it would be a nice feature available to many that want to use it, but abusing it would become harder. Pretending to be a girl (bammmbi, big jumblies) is much harder with voice chat. Faking your nationality is getting more of a problem. Adjusting your age could be more difficult. Staying anon might become compromised depending on who else is seated. There is plenty of reasons to not use voice chat besides playing in the office ;-) |

I expect voice chat to give us more of it. I may even start learning morse code to communicate my messages more secretly ;) --. .-. . . -. / ... --- ... |

HTTPS was added because all voice communication is done using secure encrypted protocols. |
