After partially reading this (it really is getting too long to read and quite repetitive) what I can see here is:

Gurgi got a few days ban that might or might not have been justified. It wasn't the first, possibly not the last - it is over. If you play a lot and are involved a lot you will make mistakes and sometimes get caught. You get a slap on the fingers (few days ban). You go on. Big fat hairy deal.

BDK made a bad mistake on an alt (that's what alts are for, right?) that 95% of the players would not have connected with the moderator (including me) if it had not been commented here. He banned that account and hopefully, like it is requested, does not go around the ban by using other accounts while it is in charge. After a few days that ban should be removed just like the others.

I do not see a reason for a permaban or the necessity to have harder rules on moderators than on others. After all, they are, most important and in first point, part of the community and long term active players.

So - can we close this thread and have some fun games? I got almost 1k to lose. Come and get it.

The moderators made mistakes. The moderators will continue making mistakes. Just like players will make bad moves or stupid comments or whatever.

There will be more or less justified bans and warnings. Live with it, this is not lethal after all. A break might be nice at times.

This discussion was very good and fruitful. It showed insight from the mods, it showed concern from the community. The instance causing it is over, the ban (right or not) served. Move on and let's discuss again if something similar happens again - this shows we are still alive and willing to reflect what's going on. Isn't that great! I thought we were in much worse state!!

it was never bannable to OTF truce and it wasn't a hardcore OTF. The only reason it might have looked hardcore was because people wanted to turn it into hardcore and i declined it.

Also, banning an OTF you need to have an opinion when it's literally not against the rules unless other people get screwed over and your friends start protecting you. There is no way to say that you didn't want to make this ban.

I'm just filling you in on what happened to me, and it matters. If you find it boring you don't have to read or comment here. you certainly don't have to underplay it when all i want is for people to recognize what happened.
