I am having 6 people over for dinner during the week, and I need a recipe that is tastey. However, I need the dish to be relatively easy to make and not too time consuming as I'll have limited time.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! :) |

at 1:33 PM, Monday March 5, 2012 EST Why bother with things that could go wrong like monte has said (egg based sauces, overcooking fish) and stick a pork tenderloin in the oven. Serve with salad, or rice pilaf or roasted veges.
Then again its summer down there. Put some shit on that Barby. |

at 8:06 AM, Wednesday March 7, 2012 EST hi loo,
wasn't sure if its a serious question, but here's what i love to do for dinner when i get guests: Minced role 500 g ground beef with salt, pepper and paprika spice, add.. 1 egg and 1 onion Puff pastry, roll it out thinly to a square put the minced meat mixture onto it, then spread... 200 g of grated cheese over the meat mixture Now roll up the whole thing Brush edges with egg yolk to keep it all together Brush the complete role with egg yolk bake it either as a whole role or cut it in 1,5 cm thick slices (in slices: Brush the surface with egg yolk), put it into the oven at 180 ° for about 20 minutes The whole thing can be prepared very well and fast (even the previous day - wrap it in aluminum foil then to keep it together, but dont brush the role with egg yolk then, do that right before you put it into the oven) We like to eat easy green salad to the role. Not sure, but maybe you and your guest would like to try it - anyway have a nice evening :-) |
