At his latest appearance he said the following:
"We had reversed the recession, avoided a depression, gotten the economy moving again," Obama told a crowd in Decorah, Iowa. "But over the last six months we've had a run of bad luck." Obama listed three events overseas -- the Arab Spring uprisings, the tsunami in Japan, and the European debt crises -- which set the economy back. So basically his latest story is now; "I fixed the recessions but then Egypt; Japan; and Europe screwed it up." This man is a complete and utter failure... Instead of manning up and correcting his failed policies; he has decided to go down in flames while pointing the finger at everyone else. http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/obama-i-reversed-recession-until-bad-luck-hit |

at 1:40 PM, Thursday August 25, 2011 EDT About 1 in 6 receives food stamps in this country. How much more fucking charity do we need to give?
47.2 million food stamp receipients 65.8 million retirees/SSI receipients 24.5 million unemployed 20.1 million local/state/federal employees That totals 133.1 million excluding the unemployed (since some of them are sure to be on food stamps). There's only 112 million income tax payers in the U.S. SOMETHING IS FUCKING WRONG |

at 1:41 PM, Thursday August 25, 2011 EDT boogy, again, the biggest difference of opinion here is not individual health. the biggest difference is the percentage of people who genuinely need help and the percentage of people who simply take advantage of the system when they have not exhausted all their individual efforts to provide for themselves.
i feel that you would estimate that 90% of people genuinely need the handouts. i feel that dead/thrax would estimate that 10% of the people genuinely need the handouts. until yall agree on a number, you will be talking at each other and resolving jackshit on this forum. so i advise everyone start researching what the true percentage of genuinely-needy people is. then this discussion can continue without everyone talking over each other based on their personal assumptions/fears. |

That's like saying all white people have no rhythm. Or all black people have bad credit. Generalization is bad. |
