i hate when people who don't live here talk shit about the city....

there are budget hotels in manhattan south of the 90s that are perfectly fine. i've had friends stay at the jane (thejanenyc.com) in meatpacking. rooms start at $99. Its not sketchy and the neighbourhood is safe day or night. you are not going to get mugged or attacked walking around most parts of manhattan at night.

im not arguing for the sake of arguing. you don't know what you're talking about, and misrepresent the city. its not as dangerous as you and many small town and suburban americans assume.

Yeah NYC is not dangerous. You can walk around all times of night in manhattan.

Yeah that and the costco/homedepot/bestbuy/2malls/flushing meadows park, was a huge reason for buying in this area. I think Queens has some of the most overlooked real estate in NYC.
