I'm definitely saddened at reactions... celebration of death and joy in revenge and glorifying a hatred. We call it justice, but what we wanted was revenge and that's what has fueled hearts. Revenge of one brings about another's want for revenge. Nothing is over. There are so many groups who will want our heads on a platter even more now. Hate is the fire that won't go out until forgiveness washes over it. Hate is no good for the heart. It grows and boils over and spreads to others. Actions made in hate and for revenge may feel good in the moment, but long term they are very unhealthy and make things worse. It's entirely sickening that so many people take such joy in a death. He may have been a wicked man, but we are no better to act in wickedness in our words or actions.
