new mod recommendation: cool g

this is based on the assumption that we should have as many mods as we can get, given that they are trustworthy.
he plays a lot of games, he prides himself on his reputation, and hes actually not too much of a pointwhore (i would know). he says he'll be around for a long time yet. i think he will be impartial. and i think he will do a good job policing not just the top top table drama, but also the rigorous ins and outs of daily modship. we need more mods, what with there always being a handful M.I.A. because modship is a thankless brutal job. the larger rotation we can get, the better. and cool g would be a good addition to the rotation imo. |

Yeah, the problem with modding is that there seems to be friction between mods. We've all seen someone get banned by a mod, then reinstated by a different mod within hours. Makes it hard to enforce the rules when a player can cry to their OTF and get it undone. Ideally, mods would be anonymous, and nobody would know who was a mod. A few shared Mod accounts could be used for viewing games publicly, and an anonymous mailbox for reports. I think it may be to late to revamp the system that much though. |
