So as previously stated, I enjoy pepper on my scrambled eggs, and salt on boiled eggs. What's your condiment of choice with eggs? I know people who put bbq sauce, ketchup, or honey mustard on their eggs... that's just weird to me.

at 3:13 PM, Friday November 19, 2010 EST ive heard of hollandaise on eggs, but never do it myself. ketchup is just gross, my mom would do that. its like when i was in taiwan, some taiwanese would always load their fried rice down with ketchup, and turn everything red. so nasty.
how about a new topic with fried rice combos, or is that too ethnic? |

at 3:17 PM, Friday November 19, 2010 EST yah, too ethnic. you can put any veggie and any meat in fried rice, and most any combo will taste good. nvm.
another simple chinese dish that we eat is made by frying eggs way over easy, then dumping them on hot rice with some soy sauce and what not (wife likes bamboo shoots, nasty, i like salmon), then stirring everything together, and let the egg become a sauce that cooks into the meal. mmmmmmmm, i know what im having for dinner tonight. |

at 3:24 PM, Friday November 19, 2010 EST wait. why is it weird to put ketchup in fried rice? I use ketchup if that secret 'white sauce' isn't available. That stuff is AMAZING on anything from any oriental restaurant. There are no exceptions.
