After reading this whole thing I can say two things: First, I'm not sure what rule(s) ceban could have overtly broken. Secondly, I am sure BR will defend any actions he takes, regardless of their nature, vendetta or otherwise.

Furthermore it seems trivial for BR to act in such a controversial fashion when the stakes involved (this wasn't 5k right?) are so small and when there hasn't yet been a clamor by the community for mod intervention. Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting what Ryan meant by "keeping the top tables clean and most insidious cheaters out."

I didn't intend to post in this thread again, since I have already stated why I took the action that I did. However, Ceban seems to be laboring under the impression that I have some personal vendetta against him. Since that is definitely not the case, I would like to clear up that issue right here. While his paranoia is somewhat entertaining, laboring under such a delusion may be injurious to his long-term mental health.

1) Until Greek mentioned in the 7th reply in this thread that Ceban = Fatman, I had no idea that was the case. It is true that I removed Fatman's avatar after he ignored my request to change it, but that was simply because I don't believe that bestiality, even in cartoon form, is appropriate on this site. Requiring a player to change an inappropriate avatar is hardly pursuing a vendetta and I took no other action against Fatman in that case.

2) When I warned Ceban previously, it was because he had come to a table, asked King85 to join him and then they went off to play together. They clearly worked together in a silent truce and then King85 gave Ceban 2nd place with one territory, despite the fact that person in 2nd had actually flagged. Silent truces are totally fine with me, in fact they are my favorite kind of truce. However, when 2 players intentionally go to play together and then work together to screw the other players, that exceeds a simple silent truce and constitutes PGA. Accordingly, I gave each of them a 10 day ban, but then reduced it to a warning due to their incessant pleading and because it was the first offense I had personally witnessed. However, I clearly stated that any future infractions would be harshly punished. Again, if I had a grudge against Ceban/Fatman, I would not have reduced the 10 day ban to a warn.

3) I have already stated the rationale for the current ban and the length of time imposed was due to the fact that I had already warned Ceban not to engage in any questionable activities. It was not and is not permanent. Whether or not he agrees with the legitimacy of the ban, or whether esteemed Kdice experts like Greek agree, is frankly not my concern. I used my best judgment based on the evidence at hand.

In short, I really don't care about Ceban/Cebalo/Fatman_x one way or the other. He simply is not worth the effort.

I will continue to do my job as best I can. I will continue to adhere to the policy that if Thrax, or a consensus of any other 3 mods, tells me to reverse an action, I will do so. To date, that has not happened.
