How about a medal off?

ok, apparently roll off is under discussion so I figured I would look for a good alternative that wasn't too disadvantageous for myself
I like the joke off idea but I get mixed responses about my jokes so I better play safe. So how about medal offs? In case of two people wanting a position but no easy fight options, if 1st decides it's a medal off, the player with most medals wins highest spot. top25 medals count double and top 3 counts triple. Now I just need to avoid about 20 people for a medal off :-) Another alternative: a rank off: player who is highest in the month ranking gets highest place |

the other players guess about what the leader of the table thinks about a certain topic. and whomever is closest wins. lets say we are guessing about how old jurgen thinks Murti is. player1: I guess he thinks murti is 17 player2: naw, he thinks murti is 18. leader: I thought murti was 5. no matter what murtis actual age, player1 wins. |
