Sounds like pooch is in the market to form another anti-PGA cabal. It's been done before successfully FYI.

Just recruit some friends, read some threads on cheating and you will be on your way to take down the bigpigs.

While I refrain from cheating, I realize that 50% of the people on top would not stand a chance without it. And 70% of the the people that make the top 3 regularly would not get there if they didn't routinely cheat.

Take for example "MC"'s win last month. Fucking pathetic zoid alt strikes again. This site has been ruled by the "tits of k-dice" (aka titans) for too long. Some efforts are being made to reduce the cheating. But in reality, some of the Mods PGA as bad as the worst offenders.

As Thraxle so eloquently once said "PGAing is like playing basketball with a quadriplegic" I actually have this phrase as my tag line on my main account.

PGAs are real and they are (sadly) part of the game. Life's losers will always rely on the easiest way to the top. Since they can't be stopped, take action on your own.

So pooch, either quit the game, or stop whining and start policing or start cheating. Those are your choices.

Ya what dddya said, and then some: Ive been playing since 07 and it really started as a time waster when things were going slow here at work. Then there was a time that i really wanted a trophy and couldn't understand why i can't even come close. (well besides my bad play) I came to the realization that it REALLY DOSN"T MATTER if i get one or not. Its not going to change my station in life any, win or lose, trophy or no trohpy. its just a game. There are "some" people on here that totally need their egos stroked by getting a trophy. They think that a trophy makes them better than the rest of society. But you get people like that everywhere you go especially on the net. So i know there are cheaters and i know that the mods won't really do anything about it, so i just play.

The only way to really get the cheaters out is to replace trophies with real money. Set it up as a legit gambling site and A REAL COMPANY monitoring it, then mayby just maybe most if not all cheaters would be gone

tbh, if you can manipulate people, you will win trophies. lets take for granted that everyone has an equal skill level. then it comes down to how well you interact with your neighbors (do you piss them off? do you talk nice to them before their other neighbors do?) and how well you interact with the table (point out silent truces, empty flags, whatever).

there are a shit ton of points to be had in the chatbox. use it. and be funny. jesus, pga is not that rampant, or else i wouldnt win trophies.

and be like vermont, say hi all and have fun at the beginning of each month. say hello to people, form relationships. this is a social game too, and that will result in points too (some wrongly call this pga, some call this otf, whatever. its not cheating.)

and srsly, if you encounter something that looks like pga on the top tables, here are some options:

1) call it out if you are sure of it. then look at everyones reaction. if the regulars tell you no, then its prolly not a pga. trust me, the regulars have experience with those players, and they will know if its pga.

2) if it is a pga, goddamn, sit with them. esp if its only 2 dudes. all you have to do is give everyone a heads up at the beginning of the game, and chances are that you can destroy them with a 5v2 pge. then you play for 1st through 5th instead of 1st through 7th.

3) if its a cool pga, kiss up to them, and they wont mind you getting 3rd. or getting 1st. i was really suspicious of jona/negro/lane, et al, because of the spanish, and all getting points quick at the same time. they didnt like me, and called me FEO, as a joke. apparently that means 'stink' or something, i dont know. but i latched onto it, and quickly made fun of myself with them. every game i sat with them i would say FEOOOOOOOOOOO, and they would laugh, and say FEOOOOOOOO back. and then i found that not only were they not pouncing on me as much, but they actually attacked me less than average. so i got more points sitting with them. were they pga? i dont know. but i learned how to play with them. ill let the mods decide if they cheat, or if i cheat by saying FEOOOO.

really, pga isnt that big of a problem, and there are so many ways to defeat it, avoid it, or work around/with/against it.

if im ever a mod, i will write a huge blog post about this.

Just have faith that the mods wont do shit but make stupid comments in your threads when you talk about serious shit. It's all that they know how to do.
