They are very, very important in showing what American-style capitalism results in: complete and utter inequality: http://www.businessinsider.com/15-charts-about-wealth-and-inequality-in-america-2010-4#the-gap-between-the-top-1-and-everyone-else-hasnt-been-this-bad-since-the-roaring-twenties-1

Yeah if you actually looked at the links, they are just statistics. They are published directly by the UN (and you can, in fact, find the information on the UN website direct from that wikipedia page). There are charts and diagrams on there directly from the UN on their findings. Wikipedia has nothing to do with this. |

Wikipedia posted the numbers, they are readily available. Just because something is on Wikipedia doesn't immediately invalidate it ESPECIALLY WHEN THE NUMBERS ARE THE EXACT SAME AS THE REPORT: http://hdr.undp.org/en/media/HDR_20072008_EN_Complete.pdf Seriously, stop posting. |

However, this is totally irrelevant and you obviously aren't going to look at any of the actual statistics that I've provided so why the fuck am I even responding to you? |
