Hey guys, some of you might remember rifty's Euro 2008 competition and how fun it was so I thought I'd do one for the World Cup, if people are interested. All credit goes to rifty for making up the idea. The concept is simple, you guess the results of each game in the world cup and people compete to get first on the leaderboard and to get as many correct predictions as possible.
The points work out as, 5 for a correct result, 10 for the correct score. The second round and quarter final games will be worth 7 and 14, the semis will be 8 and 16 and the final 10 and 20. All you have to do to is post your predictions. The fixtures in the next three days are as follows: June 11th: South Africa v Mexico Uruguay v France June 12th: South Korea v Greece Argentina v Nigeria England v U.S.A June 13th: Algeria v Slovenia Serbia v Ghana Germany v Australia Have fun playing :) |

I beleive my post currently holds the record with 408. this post will most deffinately break the record at the pace it is going. This post probably already has the record for most participants and lowest percentage of posts from original poster. Grats V.V.V. i preemptively tip my hat to you on this great forum achievement. |

North Korea v Ivory Coast Portugal v Brazil Chile v Spain Switzerland v Honduras I'll have the latest results posted up tonight, sorry for the delays but I've been pretty busy lately. About the record thing I don't really care about that this is just a fun topic for people which can make the World Cup more interesting and enjoyable! Note for everyone the knockout stages start on the 26th so refer to my original post for the score changes! |
