Mod Nominations at Ryan's Request

I'd like the following players to sound off on their desire, or lack of desire, to become a moderator. Some of the people I'm about to list may not be very active these days, but I'm extending the offer anyways:
MadHat_Sam Bone-Roller masterDD Shevar Myriad Loobee Rowdyazell These are players I know well and would trust them to be fair and unbiased. They are worthy of an opportunity to moderate this community in my humble opinion. Ryan has requested a list of people to recommend as mods and this is my list. Anyone mentioned above that would like to help moderate this site should respond to this thread immediately. I don't always have a window of opportunity to make changes around here, so let's act quickly. If you don't wish to take on the responsibilities of a moderator, or you don't feel you have the time or temperment for the position, respectfully decline. Thanks, Thrax p.s. I'm not looking for additions or subtractions to this list, nor am I looking for judgements on my list from the community. I'm just looking for the opinion of the people on my list. |

Verdict: YES Bone-Roller: A good player, a decent choice, but not around enough, we don't need any more mods that are never around. Verdict: NO masterDD: Great choice except for the simple fact he left the site and has not returned. Verdict: NO Shevar: The fact that Shevar is a bit of a dick stands him in good stead for being a moderator, like sam I can't see him being corrupted but similiar to Sam i hope he can take decisive action against players who he considers as friends. He should be given a chance to do that Verdict: YES Myriad: One of the nicest players on the site and in my view too nice to be a mod, moderators work best when they are harsh and douchey and myriad is neither of these. Verdict: NO Loobee: My favourite player on the site, but I don't think she has the tough streak needed to be a moderator and i can't see her banning certain players for wrongdoing (just my opinion, i still love you loob! ) Verdict: NO Rowdyazell: A good player, not sure if he is around much anymore though, would be less inclined to favour top players though in his decisions but may have a little bias towards some. Still a decent choice if he commits the time to it. Verdict: MAYBE I know you don't want my opinion but, nexon, yellowfin, moondust, Kehoe, and montecarlo would all make good options for moderation. I honestly think you should consider adding some people to that list but that is up to you. I've tried to express my opinion as with as little bias as possible but they are just my opinions. The decision is up to you. Good luck. |

now, for the love of god people, if you see BR, dd, or loo on the tables, tell them to respond in the forum. and tell them to say yes. all of these people would be good mods, even loo, whom a lot of think is too soft. at the least, she can ban people for hate language and porn avs. she's a wise woman and wont jump to conclusions about pgas, but will be a good consultant for the other mods. |
