Who cares about PGAs?

For starters, I would like to say that I have been f'ed over by PGAs. As a matter of fact, almost everyone on this site had been on the bad end of an unsaid truce (unless they only play 0 tables).
But I feel that all of this hype over PGAs is so trivial. Kdice, I have to say, is most like an anarchy. With so few mods, you can't expect much too happen. Therefore, making a post or complaining about every PGA you encounter is a waste of all of our time. You just have to learn to deal with it. All of the tantrums have led to a paranoia on this site where everyone is screaming "PGA!" at everyone else. For example, Happy and Crys are at a table (who are genuinely a nice people). Do I expect them to kill each other early on. Hell-to-the-no. Everyone PGAs, can we actually do something (like get more mods instead of REMOVING them) or just get over it; because complaining is getting really old. |

I rememeber one guy comparing kdice to poker, although in teaming up in kdice gives way better chances to win. Still... in poker, guys who pull such cr*p are perma banned, especially if those sites deal with paying players. In Kdice, most of paying players PGA. So... there's a reason to turn the blind eye to the cr*p going around. I have seen maybe 1 2k game without any obvious PGAs this month... so it's like all who matter and may be willing to be members PGA. |

possibly... lol. But if I am banned, then 100 other people should be banned too So many people are proven to PGA a lot, but they never get banned. Plus, I am sure i can last a week without kdice to prove a point about how this site is doing nothing to better itself |

at 11:03 PM, Wednesday May 26, 2010 EDT It's time for the backwards ass thinking to end. PGAs are not bad. Anti-PGA rants and anti-PGA rules are bad.
PGAs make the game interesting and flagging makes the game boring. You never can be sure of the outcome with a PGA. With flagging you can be certain it's over in round 3, except 4th and 5th place, who have to either fight for 10 rounds or debate about a rolloff. PGAs are fair, and flagging is not. With PGAs, not only does everyone have an opportunity to PGA, but you have an opportunity overcome a shitty position. With flagging, 90% of the game is based on your initial position, and your williness to rollover and be boring. PGAs are natural, and anti-PGAs are not. When is the last time you heard of a war where the participants agreed to open communication? I'm sure the US would have appreciated the Zimmerman letter coming through as a billboard ad, but get real. It's time to end the dark ages of McCarthyPGAism. It's time for a PGA Rights act of 2010! |

at 2:31 AM, Thursday May 27, 2010 EDT ryansucks321 - ain't it fun to have 3 way PGA at a table? This obviously makes the fight for 4th-7th interesting and that 2rd, if you're very lucky, indeed may be an achievement.
Seriously, why even play them? Your place is decided for you in advance, so there's no need to fight - just take those neg points and leave. Or you may find your own table and just sit waiting for 4 noobs to come.. cause as long as they don't realize that their positions are determined, they play. Seriously, chatbox wins and PGAs are pulling all need for skill and all the fun out of this game. |

there are some obvious pgas that are easy to stop, but if your in a game not knowing whos on what pga, they will most likely kill you, taking all your points, but im sure like every cheater, they wont get all the points, they will deliberately give some points to others just so it appears that nothing is out of place, as iknow ryan does not come here and is limited in what he can do A solution : in next month, nobody play any big games, stick to 500 and lower What this will accomplish : weed out who cheaters are, a list then can be posted in the forums, and it will also be successful in pissing off the cheaters, mainly because they will reach the limit of the 2000 and 5000 tables, maybe we can bore them do death? |
