so a guy swatting a ball off his foot, chasing it down, almost hitting the guy running to first base, scooping up a ball with his glove and lobbing it to the first baseman between his legs and then the first baseman catching it barehanded isn't cool because it would have been an out if the pitcher just let it go the to second basemen.

in fact look at the shortstop and the 2B on Lee's play, either one of them could have made that play easily f it goes by Lee.

And no chase, lees play would have been a single if it got by him it wasnt moving as fast, assuming it doesnt get through the gap which it very well may as it was going straight up the middle, Buehrles play was going much faster and straight to the 2nd baseman, making that a routine ground out. Also, its nothing like that because if a team was winning 5-0 thats still a shutout whereas if he just kicked that and didnt finish the play hed have cost them an out.

looks like someone didnt watch the lee play again, when he fields it, the SS and 2B are basically right behind him when he fields it.
