i thought health insurance programs are generally steering in that direction already thrax (along with other types of insurance like automobile).

i mean, my wife works at a large company, and they started last year to make all employees take a health risk assessment test, and, based on the results, you either pay higher premiums or not. you had to score a 70 or higher, and smoking scored you -28 alone. i blundered my way to an 88 (damn BMI), while my wife scored a friggin 100 while still being only 6 months removed from popping our son out. she still holds that over me.

No comment on the fact that the republican party was entirely against this bill. And how Obama claims to be bipartisan. Honestly i can't think of a bill that has ever been passed that has been opposed this strongly by a major party, and still been a good thing.

I do not make more than 250k a year. I make around 100k. My family can make over 250k a year though. We own a small book company and also have property with tenants and farming going on. If we have to pay higher payroll tax it means that we can hire less people directly. It also affects farmers who pay us rent(they have to pay farm laborers more) and people who live in apartment houses we own (They get laid off).

Oh and in case you wanna start calling me a lil rich boy. I'm a land owner and I bought the land with money I made when I was Fifteen on the stock market...I will admit my grandfather gave me 10k to buy stocks with (Most awesome x-mas present ever btw) but I made that 200k on my own.
