Your data about incomes are just theorical. It doesnt consider statistical distribution for example. And it was before the crisis. Let's take a look in next 10 years for fun. Some other data: Life expectancy (2003) for men and women: 1 Japan 78,0 84,7 2 Canada 78,7 83,8 3 Australia 78,9 83,0 4 France 77,6 84,5 5 United Kingdom 75,8 80,5 6 USA 74,6 79,8 7 China 69,6 72,7 ----------------------------- Human Development Index (2009) 1. Norway 0.971 (▲ 1) 2. Australia 0.970 (▲ 2) 3. Iceland 0.969 (▼ 2) 4. Canada 0.966 (▼ 1) 5. Ireland 0.965 (▬) 6. Netherlands 0.964 (▬) 7. Sweden 0.963 (▬) 8. France 0.961 (▲ 3) 9. Switzerland 0.960 (▬) 10. Japan 0.960 (▬) 11. Luxembourg 0.960 (▼ 3) 12. Finland 0.959 (▲ 1) 13. United States 0.956 (▼ 1) Tell me some other jokes plz about the USA, I like it so much. |

Thrax, this article says your claim is more or less wrong (or at least it says your claim is irrelevant). I don't believe you that it's the single largest driving force. I don't believe you have any evidence (though I didn't read your links in full detail because I'm too lazy...just give me the relevant part). And I don't believe that doing tort reform would curb that cost even if it was the single largest driving force in increased health care expenses. GIVE ME SOME EVIDENCE THRAX! |
