at 9:18 AM, Saturday November 7, 2009 EST yah, its ironic that jesse says this is creepy when he has already divulged his name, location, bisexuality, etc to everyone already. its jesse bright, btw, meagles.
i think the real reason he is making a fuss prolly has something to do with the fact that now he will have to go through an extra step of proxying in order to sit his acct with whiteknightent. standard kdice move: bitch about stuff. |

at 9:36 AM, Saturday November 7, 2009 EST OK, I think fiero is looking for a response, so here goes.
Yes, the other mods and I have IP tracking capabilities. I'm willing to bet I'll be one of the only ones that actively utilizes this tool due to my purposeful need to eliminate sharing and proxying (however impossible this may be). I do somewhat agree with fiero that it is a little "creepy" as he puts it, but I can also guarantee that I will never, EVER, expose someone's IP location unless they want me to for some odd reason. @ int: I have already banned two accounts based on incositent login locations. If I see an account login in from Virginia one day, California the next, and then Virginia again the following day, obviously that's a shared account (there may be some exceptions, but they are few and far between). @ gurgi's comments of me creating a list: This is a true statement. I am tracking the general locations and IP's of certain accounts on the site. I've created a spreadsheet on my own personal computer to do so. This information will also never, EVER, be revealed. If anyone has serious questions or concerns over this ability, please e-mail me at [email protected]. I open for discussion. |

at 1:47 PM, Saturday November 7, 2009 EST STFU seriously, don't like it leave. No one makes you play here. You don't want mods to be able to see where you are, either so you can cheat or something else don't play.
Massive non-issue. Creepers who have harassed others IRL and/or gotten the same back are the ones that this bothers. Hey you are the ones that started playing with fire in the frst place no ones fault but your own if you get burned. Don't be a creeper don't multi-account, share etc and play the damn game. |
