I troll the forums because A: it doesn't require much time or attention and B: I enjoy it. I'm not spending 6 hours a day watching every game or every tourney. I catch what I can catch. More often than not I err on the side of leaving things alone. I must have been ragging the day I banned you and zoid. Bottom line is that it takes bad luck on the cheaters part to get caught doing ANYTHING when there is only one mod for the site.

Since I camp the 0-500 tables I'd be willing to do some moderation there.

holyharlequin is an active player who knows the ins and outs of all the lower table. She has dealt with many ingame problems I have witnessed and not only this but she is also an active and popular player in XSketch...

XSketch definitely isn't kdice, but she is always on and XSketch NEEDS somebody who is active and can ban racists, people who draw rude stuff, people who warn for no reason and so on...

Not on this but she would also be a responsible candidate. She doesn't know many top players, which could be considered a weakness. But this could also be a good decision. It means she would definitely would not have any bias. Which, in a way would greatly benefit the game...

To me and i'm sure others, including TCS himself, she would make a great candidate for a multi-game mod. Gpokr has many mods, kdice has some... But definitely needs more and xsketch is dead to mods...

TCS, you come on briefly every now and then and holyharlequin was there, in the table when people were clearly breaking the rules... I had to go get you TCS before the situation was dealt with, and that is not something that should be done. A moderator is there to help the game, not have other people help them to help the game...

Sorry to bring up XSketch in a kdice forum, but the jist still applies. She has the knowledge needed and has qualities that some of the other candidates just do not have...

Thrax you are kinda right about what Ryan wants, except in that the old schoolers that are left are not the ones I think he initially thought would be around and still wanting to help.

therein lies the rub.

whereas a lot of us say we want to help, i think Ryan sees it as us wanting to have power or be famous or whatever.

i think most of the nominees genuinely have a desire to help. because we love this game and this community.

i mean, i was talking to Vermont the other day, and he said if Ryan would give him a percentage of the profits (probably something like $2 a month, ha), then he would recode and administer areas of the site that need improvement, such as the forum. but we both sorta agreed Ryan would never allow this to happen. he is fiercely unwilling to allow others any administering abilities.
