at 1:01 PM, Friday July 11, 2008 EDT Well , erm, there arent that many PGA's actually. At least in 10k's or 2.5ks usaully its very complicated and long-term relationships, so a lot of ppl sometimes make decisions and rather build friendly relationships then to take a lot of pts 1 game and get troubles in others. I think this whole "If you dont have a PGA at 2.5k u're dead" thing is overrated. There isnt that much PGA's. Yes, there is some of them, but about few of them there, no1 take care about them.
And anyways, all this PGA stuff only shows that people want Team KDice and that would be cool, if you'd make 1, but as far as i know, you're not planning to do that. Oh well... lol |

at 1:19 PM, Friday July 11, 2008 EDT Ryan is calling all the people that pay him money "cheaters". He created that elite system by creating the memberships. Those people don't have to play on the lower accounts so they get fat and elite. The memberships made it easy for that to happen.

at 2:14 PM, Friday July 11, 2008 EDT And you really encouraged that elitism btw. I mean, you didnt start it, but you definatelly encouraged it. I mean, there is a game hattrick. I support it, but only because that doesnt give you advantage and i love that game. Maybe i'd have support kdice, but i dont like advantage games (when you get advantage for paying), because its much more fun to go through 0s and get ALL your points yourself

at 3:02 PM, Friday July 11, 2008 EDT a quick on topic note: get some more evidence or more witnesses for brianbors cheating and mail it to ryan. Secondly, pga is getting an outdated strategy anyway. I think it is more difficult to recover from a bad start and get + points than it is to outsmart the pga team you mentioned and get + points.
now @ unlucky: you don't get advantage games for being a member. You just have to play less games a month to reach the table level your skills will get you anyway. If I didn't have the membership, I would have to play 20 to 40 games extra (depending on luck) each month to get to my 3 - 3,5k I need to play the 2500. It's not that I don't like playing many games, I just don't have the time and I prefer the high stake games more. In the end the 2500 point advantage will probably make a difference of a few places but I hope nobody will kid himself by thinking "hey I simply don't make it into top25 or even top100 because I didn't pay for my unfair 2500 point advantage". Lots of non-members make it to top25. It doesn't make the slightest difference to me wether someone is member or not if I play them. So many other online games have free modes or cheap basic modes but you have to pay extra to get access to certain abilities/extra levels or special powers. If the membership would give you stuff like more starting dice or higher luck%, you would have a valid point |

2500 points makes a huge difference, at least in my experience. if you convert the wins you got on 0s and 100s and 500s into 2.5k wins (not 10ks, since they dont start until halfway through the month), then instead of a 2.5k addition to points, i would guess you have a 10k addition or so. or, theoretically i have about 180 ppg, so multiply that by the 30 games it wouldve taken me to get to 2.5k (conservative estimate, i think), and thats 5400 points. ok, well, maybe it doesnt make that big of a difference. but its way more fun to start off at 2500 than 0, youre right. its why im still playing. @ unlucky: elite status evolved way before the membership bonus came along. i will have to agree with ryan here (also, i have to agree with ryan to keep up my reputation as the teacher's bitch). (ryan you make canada a better place). ontopic: i agree that the "if you dont have a pga, then dont come to 2.5k" theory is overblown. but of course i would say that, because i am so biased and one of the fuckin elite. |

at 3:35 PM, Friday July 11, 2008 EDT @ monte : lol. I know. I know that "elitism" started way way before (2ks) but membership does help you A LOT and you get a HUGE advantage.
@ Ryan : Ryan(ofc thinking about his income) did this system which helps this. Im not saying this is a bad thing, but Ryan, please, if you want this system to live, dont call your members F***ing cheaters. I think that's just not good for the game and for you. @Jurgen : Stop kidding yourself. Membership helps a lot. Look at my last months stats and PPG. Now imagine i didnt had to go through all the low tables and i've played more games. BAM. And yes, if u're a good player, you can still easily make it top 25, top 10 and stuff, but it gives you HUGE disadvantage when u're doing it. I hope im clear enough this time |
