Pat, your side arguments are getting ridiculous. Pat, you won the previous month on a donation of points from a different player. IE, you were awarded points you did not win during a game or with your own money. Is that not an offense itself? At least one where the community might recognize Chris0123 and the most humble 2nd place ever, but TRUE champion of the month?

Also, i agree with Pat, that DG and myself were not the only ones to buy points all month (my actual membership was paid before we were rewarded with points as a result of paying as I support the site). Many of the players in the top 100 would have refilled points with star donations over the month, at various time points. As pat and DG pointed it out, some of us were doing all month long. Note:Johnson213 paid money for the first time this past month, and had multiple stars, he's not getting yelled at for taking a top100 spot, a coveted position for players, who just want a white die. Also, who knows if DG, or myself hadn't purchased stars very early on in the month what would have happened during those days. As soon as i found the ability to purchase stars, Dasfury and I had a little joke contest to get 1st, with no games played on the first day. Nearly 15 topics were started in the forum. I may have played the whole month differently if i didn't have those initial points. Some games I sat in didn't matter because we were only playing 500 level games, with 10k, there's no point in actually trying with the reward being so little (See also:How Bomb almost won playing almost exclusively at 500s & 100s). Many players saw this event and purchased stars: Batmandan, took a top100 spot, he's isn't being scrutinized.

Pat, I'm sorry paypal isn't always INSTANTANEOUS, some of the points may have come in well in to the morning. None the less, they were still there at the end of the competition.

So, let us as a community not comment by a double standard.

Why do I care? Hmmmm. Well, maybe because as a newbie I thought I'd found a game where the only thing you had to worry about to get you up the rankings was your skill at the tables. Finding out that you could just buy first spot was a bit of a dampener, to say the least.

Wish is pretty pathetic too, though. Not because he's dishonouring the great legacy of this game (!!!!) but because he spent a hundred bucks to buy a .png trophy. There's a lot better things you can do with a hundred bucks. Like, buy some books, or get Grand Theft Auto 4, or a get a hooker or something. Although I guess money isn't a concern to Wish; I mean he does have an iPhone and everything.

Obviously this is the most interesting thing to happen to kdice since I came sixth (!!!!) in October but it is still pretty dumb.

Wish, can you revise that whole post and re-submit it, because very little of what you wrote was understandable. The only part that made any sense was when you called me a cheater for winning a month i was already supposed to win before certain people cheated, and being rightfully awarded my spot back as a punishment for said cheating.

i, for one, hate your idea, pat. after working my ass of for months trying to get a gold, and always getting top 10 but never 1st... i mean, DAMN, i wanted a gold. i was so jealous of everyone else who had that png. so when i finally earned it in february, i felt proud to be a member of the gold cube club.

if multiple golds are awarded in one month, that cheapens my gold. i dont like this at all. yes i am a selfish little bitch of a 28 year old loser.

guys why aren't we getting pissed that wishbone got top 10 in xsketch.

you know how many hours those kids put into xsketch to get a top spot?

not to mention the fact that had wish signed into gpokr he probably woulda had a top 100 spot.
