What in the world has happened here?

I take a couple weeks off because I am not entirely comfortable with things and I come back to find leekstep's witch hunt in full swing.

I can't believe that Ryan is running statistical queries on demand to try to ferret out cheaters for leek.

It's great that he's paid a hundred dollars in membership fees or whatever, but really going after players as he demands it smacks of a favoritism far worse than anything a small group of players working together can affect.

And, quite frankly, I wouldn't want to succeed at this game under the current circumstances. I can say that while I have never PGAed once in my life, I am certain that I do better with a given set of players than with a given set of other players at the table.

The statistics, from what I've seen, are utter rubbish anyway.

The first error is to believe that you can get a serious view of things from such a tiny sample as 40 games that two people have played together.

I've gone on a run at a blackjack table in casinos where I won 3/4 of my hands over the course of a shoe... a similarly sized sample. If you sat down and looked at that, you'd conclude that the house is absolutely insane for offering a blackjack game as the players clearly win 75% of their hands.

Secondly, none of what I saw takes into account the tons of other factors that might influence such things.

For example, if you look at my games with Vermont, you might conclude that we are allies (I have no idea what the stats actually show).

However, if you then factored in the fact that during half of those games Mad Hat Sam was at the table, then you'd discover that Verm was probably placing higher in those games as Sam and I basically kill each other on sight.

So, not only do I consider this statistic mongering irrelevant given the sample size, I consider the fact that it's occurring at all a sign of how incredibly unfriendly this game has become.

I'm sure that there are PGAs to a limited degree in this game. I am also convinced that the cure has been worse than the problem, as the forums are filled with this garbage and the environment has grown so unfriendly as a whole that it's just not FUN to come here and sit down anymore.

In conclusion, a lot of people need to remember that this is a GAME... I'm talking to you leek, you know we get along swimmingly, but you really need to step back and chill the fuck out.

And pgamonitor, kdicefreak, and anyone similar: Go outside, soak up a little sun, and realize that you have appointed yourself as the inquisitional squad in an online dice game with no prize money at stake.

@lesplaydices
Don't be ridiculous! I dont think all the top 25 are out to get me. AnMoNiDa is top 25.
Just the rest of them are out to get me.

Seriously though I get really offended watching innocent people get gangbanged time after time by PGAs.

As long as everyone knows that a large percentage of the competitions are going to be determined (at least partially) by Relationships that formed before the game...

...and people understand that most games are NOT determined by the actions on the board or in the chatbox...

...as long as everyone understands this, then I am not offended.

Unless Ryan goes with blind sits or some other drastic change, it is ridiculous to think that long term social relationships won't overshadow the competitions.

Each game really isnt a fair competition, its a complex mix of managing relationships and gamemanship.

I personally enjoy the low tables where the games are often more competitive and less social networking.

I don't ever expect a system with elite tables and elite sit-in requirements to be fair.

The only way to have fair competitions is by having all players sit blind and play against random competitiors of all different skill levels and types.

Day 6 of kdice was the first known PGA. It hasn't gone away. The social systems in the game promotes it.

Jeremy,

I have a very nice tan thank you. As for the rest of your drivel I will ignore it as will i most of the rest of the posts.

You people need to learn to have a more open mind towards change, and to listen to what the real players are saying about the game and quit saying the same things, quit the name calling, and making the same baseless accusations and pointing fingers over and over again.

I would to take this opportunity to nominate kdicefreak, leekstep or myself as Kdice moderator. We all have the ear of Ryan, i hope, and we are fair and moderate voices of reason.

In conclusion I would like to say, STFU It's Ryan's game fool!

You people need to keep an open mind about the fact that this is Ryan's game not your own private sandbox.

I don't think that I'm good enough to warrant PGA accusations, but somehow I'm top 100 and with allegations of the top 200 flying around... If Ryan wants to open the Pandora's box I'd like to join Ssergio and Mikeypoo as an official not PGA'er.

Okay Ridicu Corelati, for the sake of my potential partners, I go to the doctor's office periodically and have blood drawn for a PGA screen. This time the test was officially clear!

I know in the past I had some bad cases of Leekstep, RND, JPC, Stacy and other nasty PGAs, but this time it was clear. Or at least Doctor Ryan told me so.

In my opinion, I think Ryan should send the sample back to the lab, because I am one of the biggest PGA cheaters in the history of kDice.

I know for a fact I passed on some PGA to Big Jumblies, WayneRooney, Cabbage and scores of others. If any of my close friends feel like you have a funny itch or a case of "Won't Attack-itis", or maybe a nagging reluctance to make the easy connect through your neighbor, then I suggest you get tested, too.

Actually I suggest anyone who has ever sat with me, you should really go get yourself tested for PGA.

On a more serious note, Ryan really does have a test. Mikeypoo is PGA negative.

Unfortunately I am PGA+. At least I don't have full-blown PGAids like L3xy and Nexon.

Better use protection if you are going to play with them!

...leek probably does make decisions for you, Ryan. He makes them for everyone else and they listen to him, for no odd reason. He can manipulate a lot of people. And he's a bad player...but that's just an opinion.
