Dear What's left of the Kdice Community,

Just wanted to drop a note and say thanks for all the fun times, good laughs and great conversations. I've had a wonderful time with you all and wish you the best. And to my PGE's, I appreciate the time and energy you put into hating me. I am honored.

The time has come that I move on... Since September, I have seen this great game just fall apart. From a major game changed to spiked threads, I will not invest my time in a game that does not respect how important the players of a game are.

When I first started this game, I thought Ryan was wise and much like a man in charge, he had a group of passionate people dedicated to this game advising him and helping him take this game to it's fullest potential.

I was wrong. If anything, the opposite is true. There is very little done for retention of dedicated players and even less listening to them when they do have a valid point.

Dedicated players are influencers, your best marketers. Without them, you lose the passion for the game. New players are very important because you have to expect drop-off, but keeping those players who are engaged in the game engaged will create longevity and investment in your game. And by dedicated, I don't mean the top 25, I mean those who are passionate about the game.

We all know the RND drama and while I disagreed with most of his style, he was a very important part to this game.

Every good story needs a protagonist and an antagonist... with RND, the story of KDICE was complete and exciting.

Now, Ryan has slipped into the antagonist role... a dangerous spot for any leader.

I respect the work that Ryan does and the amount of time he puts into this game. I truly believe he is doing the best he can with what skills he has.

But that is just it. He has not realized yet that he can't be it all. This is a hard lesson to learn... one that I think takes many years to fully realize and one that I hope Ryan comes to understand.

Bringing people together and listening to your players will take this game where you want to go. Get someone to help you who isn't a programmer... one that understands how to listen, relate, and reply.

I've built many successful brands in my short lifetime and I have seen the problem with Kdice before and will see it again. It's quite common. You're not the answer to the problems of this game, you're are the problem.
Once you get that, things will be better.

So my final advice... stop being the Brittany Spears of the Video game world, realize what you have, get some help and achieve the full potential of this game.

To the players, keep speaking out and creating a dialogue that furthers this game. Speak your opinions and play by your word.

Take care of your stacks,
DG
And for anyone that wants to chat...

goodbye DG, i hope or little PGE was not to harsh on you. ill see you around some day:)

and unique and PGA monitor.stop being asses in this thread. are you also coming to people you don't knows funerals and go screaming "he is dead because he was stupid!" <-- that is about as relevant an insult as the ones you come with here.

and to all those that says there is no skill. you could say the same thing about ANY game with simple rules, but the fact of the matter is; even if you never knew your opposition you would have some players winning alot more than other. some bc ingame skill, and some bc "DIPLOMACY IS A REAL SKILL"

well back to topic;

ill miss you DG, are you into S&M because that is what our games against each others would be eqvivilant with in real live :P

c ya aound i hope :)

well tameka, im sad to see you go...i guess since you're gone im officially the sexiest person on kdice :) w00t! You're definitely one of the most talented, notorious and well known kdicers and ppl should respect that more often.
as far as the attackers go...chill out. if you havent noticed you can't fix the problems. Kdice will never be a pure game. Pure as in ppl doing what you want them to do. bc get this, we all play different. We all have different strategies to win. Stop complaining and attacking so much. and respect each others unique style. Thats how you grow as a player and a person. Kdice isn't that serious. Just let the game play itself and so many ppl will enjoy it better. I think all this drama is weird and unnecessary.
Back to my girl! - Dicey Im sad to see you go, I think you're awesome and I love and will forever miss those late night summers of dirty talk at 2.5k!
btw, can i have that silver back?
