I'm currently working on the next version of kdice and gpokr including fixing the forums, stats and ideas.
Does anybody have ideas for stats they would like to see on their profile page? So far I'm thinking of having three sections, a breakdown of games today, days stats for the current month, and month stats for the current year. |

Stats breaking down your attack success rates. 8v8 29 attacks 43% won 8v7 43 attacks 62% won etc., etc., etc. All the way down to 2v1. Thanks. |

at 11:59 AM, Friday September 21, 2007 EDT How about fixing the scoring first. This new scoring is lame. You compared it to poker in the explanation, I don't know any poker game where the guy in second place gets money. It should be that way on K-dice. This new scoring encoureges people to not play for first. End the bullshit, no points for second place.

at 5:39 PM, Friday September 21, 2007 EDT I don't think that the term "enemy" expresses useful functionality, but maybe something like "bane" would.
So let's say that there is a player X, and I want to remember that I don't care to play with him again. So I flag him as a bane, which would bring up a text box where I could enter "racism" or "pga" or whatever the case was. Then, whenever X sat down at a table where I was sitting, the software would have me stand up automatically (and not start the game if he were the seventh player). Also, if I tried to sit down at a table where X was already seated, I would have to verify my choice on a popup dialog that would mention the reason that I put him on the bane list. I would be able to see and modify my list, but nobody else would be able to see mine (except you or any future moderators, of course, who might enjoy tracking the most reviled players). And there is the possibility that eventually you might extend the power to the point that if X tries to sit at a table where three people have him marked as a bane, he is refused entry to the table. |
