i am not a politician. i don't have to be nice to you, and if i don't like you.. you can be sure that i won't be nice to you.

i treat everyone with common courtesy and respect, unless they give me a reason not to. i would like to think that i've always been 'civil' with Xica, up until now -- i however find starting this thread to be a personal attack on me, and i will respond however i see fit.

i'm not quite sure what it is you want me to appologize for. i believe i play this game as well as i can, and excel in this community... as much as i can. if you want me to appologize for winning... i'm going to have to pass.

And Adam (RND), I knight you the social magnet of the new generation, you have taken what I started, and brought the metagame to the next level. I can't believe i'm actually gonna post here... bumping a rnd topic over a clearly more magnificent (by default) Grun post... but alas, I'll chime in.


rnd is a tactical wizard at kdice who uses various tactics that I never even considered (prior to watching him) which help him to win more games than most competitors. rnd has made a name for himself in a very short time span and whenever he sits, almost everyone at the table knows who he is, for better or worse. I've seen games where two or four players go rediculously out of their way to kill him. I'm talking... taking an eight-stack.. and literally marching it entirely across the map.. just to 3v2 him at the end. And people will actually say, TAKE THAT RND!!

That said, there are others who probably cower at his rating and kdice god-like aura and avoid him, making his expansion easier. I get my fair share of both of those as well. Anytime I sit I usually have a few Grun!'s tossed at me, and those who don't are just too lazy to type it.

The point? I don't want to explicitly expose tactics rnd uses, but suffice it to see that the persona he cultivates in the kdice world is one that helps him to win more games. Thus, it is wise on his part.

A persona works. Being larger than life actually fools some chumps into being scared of you, etc.


Is rnd an asshole? No. He says rude things at times, but he is a joker, a kidder, a class clown. He intends no harm and just likes to start a scuffle for the sake that it is more fun to play the game and have fun... than to play the game and have a silent chatbox. Hell, anyone who plays as many games we he and I have get bored of just the game at times, but it's the social aspect that is so re-fricken-diculously addictive in this game.


End of story. rnd ain't all that bad.
