Is there anybody contesting the sense of a rule, to make imposing illegal on kdice?
That is making a nickname on purpose almost identical to an existing one, just to spread confusion, either misusing the fame of the other or trying to smutch him/her. This is includes taking an original distinguishable avatar from somebody else.!Yes when reading I do mismatch people that for example "stolen" Ryans flaterik avatar, or XicaDivas girly image. |

Look if you make a satire about your class teacher making fun of her with your friends, thats one thing. However if you call at school on phone "impersonating" to be her while she is ill, and e.g. tell the director you quit your (her) job. Thats sure is not "protected speech". |

What are avatars good for at all? I can think of 2 reasons. a) They make discussions like this easier to read, human brain is much geared on pictures. --> I find this thread difficult to read because grandmasterDB "stealing" my avatars. b) The avatar gives you some feeling of identity. We all want to be unique, this is a fundamental human desire. ----> Well you know how it feels when somebody takes you your "uniqueness" away. |

Wait, so you are saying that it is not ok for someone to "steal" you avatar....but it is ok for you to "steal" someone elses artwork to use as your avatar? |
