This was actually FOUGHT for 86 rounds except for a few turns at around round 20 or 25 when I carried yellow for a few rounds to see what would happen. He made a real game of it; I never had streaks as good as yellow had but my lead was too big to overcome. Still, 86 rounds and we still weren't really done--yellow had 6 or 7 lands left when he decided to leave. The two main reasons it took so long? (1) 4-stack games, of course, can take a LONG time because both players can get to the maximum number of attacks so easily and (2) our map had few chances for multiple attack against the same land. We were often stuck with attacking 3v4 and even 2v4 just to make use of all our attacks; progress was slow either way. Trench warfare, you might say.
