It is true he never flagged to me, and I never ask for a flag in any game, so in a strict sense etpicker did not backstab or anything like that. Still, etpicker was the only one left without a real flag up, and he DID try to cut me at the end of the game by claiming he wanted to go kill purple who had lost a roll-off for 5th but had not left the table. After etpicker attacked me under that lame pretext, I STILL didn't attack him--I killed off purple instead (the guy who lost the roll off). On the next turn, etpicker finally did attack me. I had suspected for a long time that he would try such a move; why else would he NOT put up a real flag? Anyway, I finally counter-attacked and it was clear I would beat him, so etpicker said "Kidding" as if that absolved him. I was giving etpicker the benefit of the doubt under my motto and he took advantage of it--that happens rarely. My motto: when 1st is in hand leave everyone alone unless attacked or stalemate. I am pretty strict about the "leave everyone alone" part to the point of not taking the grey lands so I won't affect the remaining fights in any way. etpicker was just one of those rare ones who took advantage of my nobler actions (actions for the greater good).
