2011-10-2-02 I don't recall ever seeing untoward play from MilitarySon before, but here is a note for his permanent record. In our game, I flagged way too early because MilitarySon (as brown) had surrounded me. I was going to quit when I got to an 8-stack, staying in only to be more fair to the other players (that is, I wasn't trying to get a rank above 7th--I don't play for points). Soon and unrelated to MY flag, everyone else flagged to MilitarySon--and that included _smile_ (playing as red). For some reason--pique? revenge?--MilitarySon accepted every flag EXCEPT red's. I mentioned my motto: when 1st is in hand leave everyone alone unless attacked or stalemate--and that includes guys who have been fighting me the whole way. Once they flag I stop attacking. MilitarySon lol-ed (he seemed in very good spirits) and suggested I wait and finish ahead of red because he, MilitarySon, would be killing off red. I declined, of course, and withdrew my flag to MilitarySon and attacked him with my one land. I won once, Military lost 4 or 5 8v8 attacks (karma?) but then killed me. So, just a cautionary tale about MilitarySon; he may be thin-skinned.
