Hey Rhys, how's it going. QC is pretty nice isnt she. So your a drummer, thats great. I am guessing you are playing on a set or are you just playing snare in band. I've been playing for about 40 years now, never had a lesson, taught myself. I have had lots of training on other instruments though. AS far as tips, well keep practicing. I joined a rock band in the 8th grade and have been playing since. I've played in stage bands, jazz bands, Theatre orchestras, you name it. That got me alot of experience in all styles of music. Now I am mostley playing Contemporary Christian at church, last week we played to 1500 people, pretty huge church. Check out YOUTUBE.com type in drum techniques or styles. There is a wealth of information on video on you tube. I started playing percussion more lately, djembe,congas,and anything else i can hit and went to youtube and typed in djembe techniques and got alot of good stuff to help me with percussion styles. Anyway will talk to you later, I am at work now. Havent been on xsketch much lately but still get on once in awhile.
