It's true... I can't be trusted. Especially when I say: ephraim: red ill be cool if you go thru the top ;) Which I say because I have you completely surrounded early in the game, and want to leave you room to grow without killing each other in the fight. I figure you can go thru two territories in the very top where I have weak stacks, so that you'll no longer be trapped. Hence "thru." It is important to note that Mike never responded to my offer. And on his next turn he attacks me (but not on the top). I assume he didn't like my offer and wants instead to fight. But I'm not sure. So I only attack BACK the territory he'd just taken from me.
