Even if it was just names, it would stop people giving people the ability to negotiate a truce.

I think chat-free tables are good as an option. Not everyone would like it, but some would.

If people want to chat, secure alliances, or play with friends, they can do it on unranked tables. This would actually make the ranking system mean something.

It would be better to just have the rules of the game changed so that alliances would result in tough consequences, but people seem to be reluctant to have the rules of the game changed.

Half of the fun of Risk was the diplomacy aspect. I'd definitely be against this.

The ranking shows who is lucky, good at diplomacy and doesn't make mistakes. I like it that way!

This is going too far. I think chat-free should be an option, but not that it should be the only option with a rating.

I´m also thinking that diplomacy is one of the most interesting things of this game. It may change games rudimentary! I love this.

And everything is allowed - you´ve got the absolutely anarchy in this game. So you may alliances and foul them in attacking them. That´s your possbility to fight again alliances!
