What other free, fun, simply, online, multiplayer games do people play?

I play Continuum (http://www.subspacedownloads.com/?act=introduction)
which is a 2d space shooter. Many people play online at a time, I find the server "Trenchwars" to be the most fun.

I also play Netrek (http://www.playnetrek.org), which is one of the oldest online multiplayer games. It's based loosely on Star Trek, but really only as a premise. It's pretty neat, basing, phasers and torpedos, romulans, etc.

What about other people?

I haven't played most of these games. There are so many!

I've been stumped over what i should do as my next game when things start to stabilize with kdice/gpokr. But you guys are experts I should ask you!

Before I found kdice I played Conqueror!
Also a risk-like game, but you need to take more time - there are games from 30 minutes to more then 2 Hours. But if you leave, the computer-player continue for you.

You have cards/gambling and and dice/boardgame. I'd go with a third simple and social game, to me scrabble sounds the best here. And since I'm crazy I'll suggest rpg powers for it, that'll give you a word/rpg game that you can call rscbl ;)
And then fourth maybe a multiplayer action/space shooter? ;)
