Is PGE against the rules?

Since the forum is so dead, I thought I start a discussion that might be of interest.
Some facts (to me it is facts): - We all agree, that PGA (pre game alliance) is against the rules. - We all know that OTF (old trusted friends) is sometimes hard to distinguish from PGA. However, with the small playerbase this is not an urgent issue. There are only 2 rules for games. One of them states: Game-to-game favors or alliances are not allowed My point is, that PGE (pre game enemy) is just the same as PGA only with a negative sign. You do "anti-favors" or "negative favors". I can fully understand the process of getting pissed at players at times - without judging about the anger being justified or not. That doesn't really matter. Once you are angry at someone it seems reasonable to me to seek revenge for the felt injustice or insult. In consequence you do negative favors to that player the next games. This is very similar to giving small advantages to the guy that gave you first. Both is not exactly within the rules if taken by the letter (can be considered pge/pga), but very human behavior. I think it can be tolerated. It is different if the pge/pga goes on for weeks or months. This should not be tolerated. It ruins the game and might further decrease the already small player base. Any justified or not anger should be overcome after some time. In the end (I hate to say that) this is a game for virtual points getting reset all the time where you talk to more or less stupid pictures. It is nothing that should affect your life and mental status (hate) for a long time. What do you think and what would be your suggestion how to react on longterm pga/pge? Note: I don't feel I am being seriously targeted at the moment. So I do not have a personal aspect in this discussion. |

at 4:00 AM, Monday December 9, 2024 EST Fiero, if that damn lunatic cheating bot is coded by Ryan it is strong evidence, I agree. However, I've heard that you can get of his list somehow.
I see that many here think long time pge is ok. I don't agree, but I take it as a statement. Democracy has it that the majority decides - which doesn't mean the decision is right, you just have to accept it. |

at 10:30 AM, Wednesday December 11, 2024 EST Theoretically, you can get off the bot's lifetime PGE list by leaving a comment on his wall and Ryan will review the game and remove you if you didn't really backstab, but I dont know if this has ever actually happened.
So far as i know, everyone who has ever been on the bot's blacklist has stayed on the blacklist. The bot does not forget and the bot does not forgive, ever. |
