Lucky Louis and an ignored 5v8

I've been having some really very lucky games on a 100 table. And when things looked bad and I had given up that game I did win 5v8! Unfortunately it did not get acknowledged by the foe.

But, to all those frustrated, even I got lucky streaks - yours will come as well!

And again, this time by a not so new account...

Where did the good old style go?

Here's another, and not even on the 100 people do what they should...

And this also wasn't really a new account (http://kdice.com/profile/45209672).

It is so sad how ignorance, greed and lack of style took control of this.

i think it should be considered, that you were just suiciding stacks, not fighting anymore.
does the rule apply to suiciding stacks? or does it only apply to the main fight?

i get why you are upset and i am think more should know about the rule and it should be followed. i think the previous questions should be discussed, because giving the kill is a nice gesture, the losing player gives the winner. and with that, as the losing player, you give yourself lots of chances to win the game (if the rule is followed). that is why i think it shouldn't apply for suiciding stacks.

I agree, rule does not apply to suiciding at the end of the game.

Well - I would accept it any time - and have done so. It is not always evident what is a suicide and what is "rolling out". And if the oponent had all 8s and you still got to 5v8 - hard enough to do.

But then, it is not really something like a written rule and even those don't really matter much as we have no mods.

That's another - and this time I even announced it. Still it did not get honored :-(

I've never liked that whole 5v8 thing, but I'm old and cranky. Get off my lawn.

Rule doesnâ??t apply unless everyone agrees pregame, or if an agreement is made between all active players.

Been saying that for years.
