During my time in kdice I met several players that thought its their right to call all germans nazis, or the german language as nazi language..some even didnt wanted to comunicate with me since I'm "nazi"..which is pretty stuped since I'm half turkish, however I want to know ur opinion on whether to ban them or not.

A recent example:
Miless0055: no lo hago con nazis

"Nazism is a set of political beliefs associated with the Nazi Party of Germany"

You shouldn't be banned for using the word, unless you want to ban words describing supporters of other political ideologies (e.g. "commies").

You might not like it but Germany is associated with Nazism. In the same way the Islamic phrase "allahu akbar" is associated with Islamic terrorism.

As I said in my review, you're a typical German. Always cheating and always victim carding. Get over yourself.

Where does that definition come from? Nazism has been present all over the place - usually referred to as facism.

You can call Germans Nazi, you can call Vietnamese Charly, you can use Commi, Kraut, Tommy and whatever you like as long as you don't insult the home of the boneheaded ^H brave. They won the wars - don't use the N-word, it refers to the black sppot in their history. Don't use the c-word, they are not sexually educated and can't handle it.

This site is hosted in Canada and the Zuendl-pages were hosted there. Denying the holocaust is not a crime in Canada. The laws are different. Live with it.

Being German you have to live with the fact that 70 years after the war with hardly any survivors around you can still be badmouthed for it. It will happen in any internet discussion as soon as it gets emotional. White America successfully genociding the native Americans (they did much better and more efficient than the 3rd Reich, btw.) has passed a little longer - we shall wait.

Look up Godwins Law - it might help.

I think its a big diffrence whether you generally call everyone with a german flag Nazi or just people that have certain political views.

To me being called like this without any reason is an insult and insults are a causes to get banned as I saw in several profiles.

Especially when these players say "I wont reply to nazis" or "I wont accept nazi flags".
Of course thats their right of choice - on the other hand they just say that to harm or insult you.

I think all german players would agree with me that this is happening regulary on kdice tables. And I dont know which other pages you guys use but I have never had more experience with this kind of insults then on kdice - which is actually pretty sad if you look at the amount of users.

Yes - they clearly should get banned for it..... though it will only very rarely happen.
I don't like it - but in this case I have to agree with BerlinerSportsClu.
This isn't a new discussion, it's coming up from time to time with no result in the end. Most of us german players feel insulted being called "nazi" or similiar. And of course these words are meant to be insulting when they are used. There's a post about it in this blog < http://kdice.com/blog/93 > including Jurgens answer to this problem:
it need's more than calling someone a "nazi" once to get someone banned for it and you need screenshots. I think jurgen would ban them if you have screenshots and if the nazi-insults are repeated several times. I don't know if it's the same when you are being called "n...." as a black guy / girl - I guess so. There has always been a difference between these two kind of insults, and I'll never understand why - but I know many (also non-german) players feeling insulted or taking it as an unapreciated use of the word towards german players. Though there will never be a clear rule - not sure if the mods would be allowed to put up a new rule coz of the use of the "nazi-insults" without Ryan if they would like to. Neither do I know Ryan's opinion to this kind of insult - can't remember if he ever replied to a post like this.
So in fact the only thing you can "do" against it, is: learn enough english words to insult the players (calling you a "nazi") as well ..... or mute them ..... or try to ignore their talk, thinking they are lil kids not knowing what they are talking about - and then kill them ingame asap (maybe by ingame-teaming up with other germans playing the same table) ... it will make you smile when they throw out even more nazi-insults :-).... like we germans say: schlag sie mit ihren eigenen Waffen!

Mrs. M - "maybe by ingame-teaming up with other germans playing the same table"

And you say that Germans don't cheat? You fuckers have been cheating ever since you broke the Germanâ??Polish Non-Aggression Pact in 1939. Get out of here with that shit.

PEGIDA demonstrates for us that Nazism is still alive in Germany. Mrs M even said she was pro PEGIDA so referring to her as a Nazi seems justified and hardly a banable offence.

Personally, I think Germans need to man up. I mean, it's just a word.

Germans were never oppressed like black people were. Therefore it really isn't the same as calling someone a n****.

And @Louis you say 70 years after the war. But seriously how many people did the Germans kill ? and they are the victims?

The issue here isn't about history or what country someone is from. Its about Hate Speech. Its about specifically saying something hateful, ignorant or demeaning to someone else for the purpose of antagonizing.

if it's ongoing from a particular player to another player then it definitely constitutes harassment.

we have banned and warned other players that call other players nazis, just because they show a german flag or speak in german, and we'll continue to do so.

Integral, how are you able to distinguish whether or not someone called another player a NAZI, "just because they show a german flag or speak in german" though?

Seems like that would have to be guess work.

If a German like Mrs M admits to supporting PEGIDA (which I'm pretty sure she did a few months back). And I called her a Nazi another game because of that reason. You would most likely just assume I was being hateful due to her nationality... When in reality I believe it's her nasty views that makes her one.

Nope. Never had this problem in all the years.
