Recognize accounts that have been played for 10 years?

I believe kdice is approaching its 10th anniversary - I'm not sure though. I don't recall the exact date. And I am certain I wasn't there on day 1. Maybe the anniversary has passed already.

However, there are a few accounts that have a mostly uninterrupted record of being actively played for more than 10 years. What do you think of the idea of somehow recognizing these accounts? IMHO you should recognize them even more if they went through that time of active playing without bans.

You can discuss how you can define "mostly active". That's details. And no, although the LC-account might qualify sooner or later, that's not the point. It would do the site good to somehow distinguish the veterans.

Your thoughts?

Special attack sound Instead of *blip* . A cool blaster sound, maybe like the blaster from Defender.

@leek: Imagine all the anger and rage I would have had to unload on the real world rather than cursing unknown anon accounts of other addicts. Estimate the freedom of thought this gave to creative work you have been doing when not playing. Consider the benefit for society for keep those low lifes playing this for more than 10 years of the streets and away from people for such a long time.

Yes, there should be a badge for hanging on here for such a long time. And yes, you should be proud to wear it since it did do good to others.
