As the game makes it's calculations after round 5 you can still make moves and take first from the person who legitimately won.

Why is exploiting a bug not bannable?

it's not the same as other bugs, this one affects every player and is random, its not like the same colour goes last every game. Everyone has a chance to benefit/lose from this bug and not just a select few.

besides, how exactly would this be enforced?

Jurgen board in March is not x2 but you only get +4 lands no matter how many lands you have connected. Is it a bug?

If not what's the point of it all. Last month with x2 lands it was very dynamic and playable. This is just sitting until round 5 with eights.

Maybe it was meant to be +4 dice on dice that you get on connected lands?

yes it was intended like that

I try to change every few days to see what's playable and what's fun.

I will change it back soon

I just asked Ryan if we could have a few more options or a few more custom tables. That will take some time to happen so right now we have to appreciate what we have and try and use the custom tables at their full potential

At first glance, strategy does seem limited on these tables with last place players guaranteed a ninja win.

But, I believe it may be more complex than that - providing all players adapt there play to the new settings.

At the moment only half the players are adapting there strategy and their strategy (including my own) is only half-assed at that.

If players used a strategy of boxing in later turned opponents with 8's and ninja-ing protected land, it would turn into a game of decision making and not dice rolling (poor metaphor for a dice game).

These settings may provide for more of a 'prisoners dilemma' type game than regular kdice.

I especially like the prospects of the +4 dice/10 rounds settings.

If fact, far from being a game with no strategy involved. It could be a game with far more complex strategy then regular kdice.

Then again, I could be wrong.
