What's the excuse for Qazi et al?

Seriously though. The mods go out and ban DLK for "pga" when he played every game clean and was simply a dick to a few people while qazi and his funnel crew go at it again for the umpteenth time.
What gives mods? Did ryan specifically tell you to give these guys the edge because they are the only ones giving him money these days? Sure seems like it. Hate to have to be making a post like this but after seeing qazi getting funneled by lulz123 and then instead of them being banned they go and complain to the mods about some guy who is simply a better player than they are, I have no choice but to go to the masses! |

That means, if you are successful enough before you get caught you get the reward (medal) even if you are caught... Not good imho. Caught cheaters should be set to 0 points the moment they are banned.

I share your views and many of the mods do too... well at least in a more nuanced way. It probably shouldn't be the norm that cheaters automatically lose their points but in some cases it would definitely be the most appropriate punishment. It's also more fair for the players that miss out on a medal because a cheater isn't reset. The rules page state that your points can be reset when you break the rules and it does happen in the most extreme cases. But we have to ask Ryan specifically to do it. We've asked to get point edit powers but we also have to respect that Ryan prefers to keep that great responsibility for himself. |

However, given the current month, this moments 3rd in the leaderboard has been banned this month for having his points through cheating. Still he is likely to end up in the top 10. Punishment is one side of the coin - I don't think it would work or change much. Rewarding cheating is something that shouldn't happen though. If it does, false play is fostered rather than reduced. |
