In the chat of a humble tourney (taeglich 250 or some shit alike) I had my first conversation with Ryan, it went like that:
-Ryan, it is an honor. -(silence) -The People is excited when they see the King. -(silence) -You should implant a betting system, for the observers. -It's a good idea. -(Thanks! Bla bla bla...) -(Silence) So what do you, the people, think about a betting system for the observers? Something like writing in the chat: #bet blue 500 or #bet yellow all ?? Of course to avoid betting pgas we need some rules. And we shouldn't be able to bet past certain situations (colors, time, rounds left?) I mean not cool to bet when there are 2 colors, one with a land, and the other with the rest...Post your opinions! But think a little bit first, please. PS: #bet truce 7k ! #bet Thrillho 6th??? Lol joking...but.. |

at 7:17 AM, Saturday February 21, 2015 EST I guess you get why the apps are a priority, they might make the game (=fun) available for a whole new player base (the kind of people who don't play flash-based games on pc, only on their smartphones/tablets).
As for a betting system, first you could try something small scale to gauge how many people are even interested. Like organize a betting competition in a dedicated forum thread or something (Of course, that could only be used for betting on the monthly competition or tournies, instead of individual regular games, and have to come up with tge rukes first but... if it turns out that few people are into betting than devoting Ryan's precious time on it would be a waste.) |
