To be honest I read it as sarcastic. To me it looks like dug was just stirring the pot because at that time as you can see, he's in 4th place.

Of course, if dug and zoid truced for the next 6 games and dug funnelled zoid that's a different story. One screenshot doesn't provide enough context.

First a question: How do you know dug (or anybody without a membership star) paid for this?

Second I urge you to mind your own business. You've been funneled sufficient points like probably anybody else in the top 10. Thrill is right here - you got a pattern over numerous games, ban it. You got a single happening - well, that's random.

Third - thank you for that post Int. Couldn't have pointed out the problem any better. It really is the main thing, starting at 500 and getting worse the further up you move. And yes, there is about nothing the mods could do about it.

ok so fatty, let's see what you are comparing here and trying to sell as double standards

The Qaz lag:

1) qaz has been helping or not hitting you all month, you could even expand that to "most of the time". He also pge's people for you.

2) qaz had way more lands than you, you could even debate if that game needed a simple roll off and that qaz was the logical winner after that game anyway

3) you guys DID roll: fat rolled 30, qaz 34. Only then did qaz suddenly lag

4) there weren't much signs of qaz lag before and after that roll off


The Bongoman lag:

1) Bongo has no prior history at all with zoid (I'm keeping this situation in mind from now on though just to be sure). Bongo played perfectly fine around fatman in the many games after that. No pge, no fishy moves. Usually, if a player is pro someone (zoid in this case), he would usually also be contra the competition (pge fat). He had a few opportunities after that game to cut or screw fatman in particular. So a subtle pge would have been possible but he didn't: he played neutral with fatman.

2) Zoid and bongo's roll off was logic and both had equal lands.

3) I'm not 100% sure of when exactly he lagged but zoid definitely didnt lose the roll yet

4) bongo had been lagging earlier in the game as well and I saw him lag again 2 games later.

I can understand part of your frustration but now you're just going pretty low, implying bribes and stuff.

I did a well deserved ban for qaz since this problem was not only happening in this game only. In fact, you are also not always hitting him when you should. So actually, I've been pretty soft on you. If there were any bribes or favouritism for zoid involved, I could have easily extended the ban to you too.

Integral is right that there still is a general atmosphere where regulars constantly avoid other regulars. You don't have to give noobs the free wins but if there's a reason that players don't return to 5k regularly, it's because of all the lame (early) truces, the fake counters, some people not hitting others or making sure their friends don't get 5th so a noob gets it.

the current overly friendly play with the regular participants at the 2k and 5k levels are an echo of the pga history of kdice lore. a large group of players that show deference to those they know they will see again is an atmosphere that is bad for the game overall. back then the only solution, as instituted by Ryan, was to tell people that they had to shape up or else face a permaban for their playing styles. many stopped their current course of favoritism or stopped playing. those that stayed and did change their playstyle found the game to be more enjoyable as they were forced to actually play the game against their "friends"

I suggest that a similar effort be put in effect to help kdice today.

I was lurking during that Bongoman incident, and for sure he was not lagging out on purpose.

Jurg, we talked, i dont know why you bring zoid in this story same as me, isnt zoid's fault that someone suck up to him, i didnt tell you 'ban zoid' but ban those who helps him. Qaz got ban and dug didnt and both did same thing, i know its to much expectations to stay here in like 2 or 3 am when is day at USA but if someone watched that fucked up 3 way truce on 5 players table (dug, zoid and pube) that is reason why i watched it till i didnt saw that chat and screen shoted it. He have 60 games with ppg around 1900 and more than half of those he played with them. Even you told me that 3 of them are to close but you still think you cant ban them, that is why i ask, where is the limit when you need to ban them? Dug stopped to come with main when he was near of 'crossing the line' and start to coming with alt to help him. I told i dont give a fuck and you can see that i wont chase it cause i told you i wont play against 3 or even more way truces. Only, AND ONLY problem is double criteria, while my simpatizers got bans his get warning's after 14 days doing same shit they still just get warning's.
