If you flag to somebody, are you obligated to help him?
After I flagged blue (who then went on the fight brown) I became the strongest player on the board. Meanwhile brown was getting the better of blue and blue asked why I wasn't attacking brown. When I answered that I didn't think it was in my best interests to do so, brown became very angry. I understand that if brown had flagged blue I would have been obligated to take 3rd, but was I obligated to help him in his fight? |

at 12:26 PM, Monday September 29, 2014 EDT Sigh. This is tedious, especially for a classic bit of 0-table noobism. But here goes.
I was blue. You flagged me. I shouldn't have accepted it, because it was an early ninja flag, and it stopped me cleaning up all your 2-stacks. You live, you learn. Then, after you'd ninjaed someone, you were the biggest and I was in third. 2nd and I fought and both got depleted. Then when I was down to one land you killed me yourself to get first. So it goes. But for noobs like you the real point about flagging is this: Stab someone; ninja someone; fuck up someone you flag; do what you want. There's no hard and fast rule about flagging. It's something you do to better your position. Just realise that when you pull a stunt like that, the next time the player you fucked over won't trust you and has probably PGE'd you. If you have the balls and are good enough, then that's a calculated risk that might be ok. You don't and you're not. So, in your case, it was a silly bit of noobery on a 0 table. |

Ofc you got the right to believe that they are not transitive, however, this is an often discussed point with no widespread agreement. There are players that do believe in flag-transitivity.
Just to round up the information. |
